Abstract

The large impact of El Niño - Southern Oscillation (ENSO) in our industrial society has spurred the cientific community to understand which are the physical processes that are triggering this climate phenomena and to elucidate tis history throughout the time. The sedimentary record of natural sensors, such as the lakes and the sea, are to reconstruct the history of ENSO. In this paper we provide a comprehensive history of this climate phenomena for the last 4 Myrs.
