I have finished my PhD in Atmospheric Sciences in 2014, which was a joint program between Faculdade de Ciências da Universdade de Lisboa and Duke University (USA), where I have also worked for one year as a research assistant. Subsequently, I have been working as a postdoctoral researcher at IDL-FCUL, where I’ve been conducting my research on weather and climate variability across scales, their multi-scale dynamics, and stochastic downscaling and modelling applications. I’ve also been working as an invited assistant professor for the Numerical Modelling course at FCUL, supervised student thesis and collaborated in several research projects at IDL. Between 2015 and 2016, I have also spent part of my time at IPMA, working on project AdaPT, funded by an EEA grant.
