Bio

Miguel Pinto concluded his BSc in Meteorology, Oceanography and Geophysics in 2014 and his MSc in Geophysical Sciences in 2016 at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon. He is currently pursuing his PhD studies in Geophysical Sciences and Geoinformation. Since 2014 Miguel has been working as a researcher at Instituto Dom Luiz (IDL), Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon on meteorological fire danger. He is currently improving and developing fire danger related products using numerical weather models, data assimilation and ensemble prediction systems.
