Bio

In 2014, João finished his Bachelor Degree in Meteorology, Oceanography and Geophysics. Later, in 2016, he finished his MSc degree in Geophysical Sciences.

Currently and since September 2017, he is working in Instituto Dom Luiz, developing investigation regarding climatic extreme events (Heat Waves; Droughts). His main tasks are characterizating the main atmospheric conditions and the natural and socio-economic impacts associated to Heat Waves.

• 2014-2016: MSc in Geophysical Sciences (with specialization in Meteorology) at the University of Lisbon, Portugal.

• 2011-2014: Degree in Meteorology, Oceanography and Geophysics (with specialization in Meteorology) at the University of Lisbon, Portugal.
